to River's Edge Condominiums
River's Edge is pleased to announce a new option for people who wish to join our Golf Community. Construction will soon start on the first of twelve, 2-story condominium buildings on Weir Crescent. Each building will consist of 8 units (2&3 bedroom), elevator and underground parking. All units have access to the York River and the Hastings Heritage Trail. Construction is planned to begin on tennis courts, pool and recreational building upon completion of the first four buildings.
The two and three bedroom units, complete with two full bathrooms, will range in size from 1,100 sq.ft. to 1,550 sq.ft. Each unit, featuring an open concept, will have 9' ceilings, gas fireplace, custom kitchen, central heat and air and be built in the highest construction standards. High quality workmanship and materials will be used not only where it is evident, but behind the walls and ceilings where you can't see. Insulation, soundproofing and fireproofing will not be compromised. Recognizing our responsiblity to the environment, we will be building 'Green".
By building 'Green', we we will be meeting higher performance standards in environmental responsibility and energy efficiency. Individual units will be built with up-graded insuation, Low E, argon filled thermopane wiondows, Energy Star products and appliances, high efficiency HRV, heating and cooling units, duel flush toilets, high pressure/low flow fixtures, recessed compact florescent fixtures to name just a few. We will be using products. wherever possible. that are made from environmentally reponsible materials such as bamboo flooring, composite lumber, and low off-gassing products such as carpet and paint.
